Attosecond Laser Facility

15^th Symposium on Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Sciences was held in Sendai on June 16^th, 2018. The program of the Symposium covered many interesting areas in atomic, molecular and optical sciences, and also included session on “Ultrabrilliant soft X-ray light source and their applications” which is closely related to research focus of Attosecond Laser Facility (ALFA). After this session researches from RIKEN, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, and the University of Tokyo held a meeting where they discussed next important steps in construction and operation of ALFA.
